India has the largest population in the world English speaking after USA. Only 11.38% of people in India know the language. No other country speak as much English as India does considering English not being the national language. In general, English is the third largest language by the number of native speakers worldwide, after Mandarin and Spanish. It is used as officially common language.

4. India’s first rocket was transported on a bicycle (1963) and the first satellite on a bullock-cart (1981).

10. India has a spa for elephants.
India’s scorching heat cannot be beaten by anyone. Foreigners get surprised by watching elephant spa. All the elephants can be seen taking lavish bath, massages and their diets are taken care of. Th locals scrub the massive bellies of elephants with love and clean them all over. The luxury is given specially to Elephants as it is difficult to clean them to reach areas. This is majorly done in Kerela where elephants has a great use. The foreigners also clean them while travelling to India.

Sounds weird? So, India can have it! This is the first such post office in India. It has been made as a tourist focus post office on a huge house boat and provides a unique and tourist-friendly service to the people of Kashmir and to tourists from across the world. A man with 39 wives. That’s not it.. 94 children. Wait there’s more with 33 grandchildren. This is how Ziona Chana got famous. He is from Mizoram where they live in a 100 room house which is four storey house and all the wives sleep in giant communal dormitories. This is a strange things having such number of family members. 13. A polling station is set up in a forest for a lone voter.
A true example of how much voting is important. The right to vote has a biggest example where polling station is set up every time in election since 2004. This is Bharatdas Darshandas of 55 age from Banej village in the Gir forest in Junagadh. Darshandas is a temple priest.
This booth is set only for him as if the booth is not set up hewill have to travel 20 km to cast his vote.This person has been living here from last 10 years and is not afraid of lions. Every time two policemen and officials reach polling booth and Bharatdas casts his vote.

14. Bandra Worli Sealink has steel wires equal to the earth’s circumference.
What! This is a news! right? This is true that Bandra Worli Sealink is same measure of earth’s circumference. Steel cable which is used for supporting the various structures of bridge. 15. Science day in Switzerland is dedicated to Ex-Indian President, APJ Abdul Kalam.
